get connected and catch the heartbeat of Activate Church.

Church happen. There's so many areas we could use your help in, and just
as many options for various time and commitment levels.

Kids City
We believe that children are great disciple makers and on Sundays at Kids
City we share the gospel teaching them how to be disciple makers. We equip
them with knowledge and resources to live life as God intended and to
share the gospel with others.

Youth & Young Adults
Youth & Young Adults is a ministry for young people between
the ages of 13 to 29. Our services are every Sunday @ 6pm, and are
comprised of worship, preaching, prayer, and time to hang out at the end (ft. food, coffee, live
music, table tennis, Wii etc.) We also have Youth "LifeGroups" fort nightly
on Friday nights and Young Adult "LifeGroups" fort-nightly on Wednesdays.
We believe in seeking God with all of our hearts, and believe what young
people really want is to experience the power and presence of a living
God.

Creative
the.COLLISION is a company of like minded musicians and singers who create,
write, compose, sing, shout, and dance, collaborating to express their love
and adoration for Jesus Christ. We believe that as our hearts collide with His,
we are intrinsically changed, and become full of love for Him. Our desire is to
together fan the flame of worship in the heart of the church, crafting environments,
and writing songs that become the anthems of worship for our generation.

Activate Academy Team
Activate Academy is the training and people development arm of Activate Church.
From seekers Exploring Christ to believers of many years, we provide appropriate
training and learning that will assist others in fulfilling the call of God on
their lives. Volunteers can help with many tasks, including the facilitation of
the various courses we run in activities such as program delivery, administration
and program development. We welcome anybody with a heart for training and development
to contact us and enquire further as to whether serving at Activate Academy would be right for them.

Hospitality Team
Hospitality team look after the setup of morning tea. Hospitality runs after both the morning services and provides morning tea for all as well as drinks.

Guest Teams
Guest teams assist and welcome everyone who come to our services.
They are the first people you will see as you come into church
creating a welcoming environment. They assist throughout the length
of the service with tithes and offering as well as communion.

Coffee Cart Team
The coffee cart runs in between our two morning services. It gives you real life skills in making coffee which you can use outside of the church. Friendly, loving and a great experience.

Security Team
Security team patrol and make sure everything is under control inside and outside the services. It makes sure services run smoothly without disturbance.

Prayer Teams
The Prayer team operates straight after our services. If there are any prayer needs that people may have they can head up to the front where a team member will pray for them, encourage them and build them up in faith.

Information & Resource Team
The Information & Resource Team operates to assist you with any extra info you need about any upcoming events in the life of the church and also any promotional material. Not only that but CD’s, books and bibles are also available at the resource centre. If there are any sermons you’ve heard in the past the team can duplicate them and get them to you.

New Christians Team
New Christians team is the first point of call for people who have either made a first time decision or a recommitment. Connecting with people and the decision they’ve made.
